Required Certification and Eligibility

This position is intended for certified electricians with recognized Canadian electrical credentials.

Qualified applicants should have

Red Seal Endorsement, or Canadian Journeyperson Electrician Certification

Alberta Electrical Board certification or recognized Canadian equivalent

Legal authorization to work in Canada

Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence or higher

Clean driving record

You will work with project managers, engineers, technicians, clients, and other trades to support safe and organized project execution.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

In this role, you will:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
  • Complete commercial and industrial electrical work in accordance with the Alberta Electrical Code
  • Perform electrical testing, diagnostics, and commissioning
  • Support project timelines while maintaining safety and workmanship standards
  • Communicate clearly with project managers, engineers, clients, and other trades
  • Maintain accurate service, testing, and commissioning documentation
  • Contribute to a professional, organized, and safety-focused job site

Location and
Service Area

This position is based in Lethbridge, Alberta. First Technicall serves clients throughout Southern Alberta, so regional travel to project sites is required.

Company vehicles are provided for travel to and from job sites. Most work is structured so employees are home every night.
